Flick Ford developed his own painstakingly detailed technique of painting fish in watercolor over 10 years ago. Executed on Arches 100% cotton rag watercolor paper, the color is stunning, the detail unparalleled. The fish are painted from life, hand rendered on paper from sketches, notes and photos taken while the fish was taken fresh from the water. The resulting paintings are so realistic the fish seem capable of jumping off the paper and swimming away!
